Born in Lorca (Spain) Alejandra studied at the Professional Dance Conservatoire of Murcia where she got her ballet degree (2003). After three years of professional training at Escuela de Ballet Carmina Ocaña in Madrid, she moved to London to study the One year Certificate in Higher Education at London Contemporary Dance School (2007). In 2009 Alejandra joined Avatâra Ayuso Dance Company for the production 'Looking Backward to To-Morrow' performing in Germany and Spain.
'Counterpoint' is Alejandra’s first production with Shobana Jeyasingh.
