Born in Norrköping, Sweden. Her first contact with dance was through breakdance at the age of 15. She then continued with jazz and show jazz as an employee at Arbis teatern in their production of Moulin Rouge 2003-2005. She then went to London to train at Laban and graduated 2009. Sofia started the Swedish based company Blauba in 2008, which are planning their fourth production this autumn. Since graduation she have worked with Freddie Opoku-Addaie and Jorge Cresis at the ROH summer collection, solo with musician Jens Ekbom, research process with Art of Spectra, Blauba production Jomeo&Rulia and teaching A-levels. She was in Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company site-specific school project 2step in the summer of 2008.
