Faultline is a set professional work on the AQA GCSE Dance Syllabus from September 2009. Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company has developed a comprehensive set of resources for teachers & students, practical workshops & INSET programme to support the inclusion of Faultline in the syllabus. Faultline not only appeals to GCSE groups, it is an ideal professional work for A Level & BTEC students to study & experience too.

Faultline workshops for young people
Experience Faultline repertory with company dancers at our highly reputed workshops that explore themes of 'divide' & 'youth'. Content includes:
- Bharatanatyam & contemporary technique
- Learning Faultline repertory & key motifs
- Creative tasks to develop short phrases &/or performance pieces (which can inform solo/group compositions (Units 3 & 4a of AQA GCSE Dance Syllabus)
- Q&A with dancers.

There are a number of Faultline teaching & learning resources available to assist teachers & students.
The Faultline DVD (£30)
The DVD is a superb teaching tool to add value to lessons. It contains two beautifully filmed versions of the full-length performance. A wide shot allows the full stage action to be seen in totality, while a second edited version provides a more detailed close up look at the choreography.
